Final Project
You have a lot of freedom for this assignment -- you can do any type of theater or performance. Choose something that will challenge you but also showcase your theater skills/strengths. In the past, students have performed solo monologues, group scenes, improv, puppetry, musical theater songs/scenes, character study, and more. One student directed an adaptation of Inception, one directed the opening song of Hamilton, and some have gone for extreme comedy and others for more seriousness. You can also do a set design or tech design or costume design for a show. Or you can present a director's or dramaturg's vision for a show. It doesn't matter what you do, but it should be your best work of the semester. Most of all, it needs to be practiced, polished, and professional!
